Twinned Terror is my attempt to express the fear of being predated upon for sport. By transforming and inverting the colors, I emulated how a hunter might see this young family of deer through a thermal camera. At the same time, the visuals represent the deer’s fight or flight response— removing all unnecessary information, such as color. In this way, the viewer understands both how a hunter sees its prey, and how the prey sees it’s killer.
